The Dr. Kay Teer Crawford Scholarship Foundation
Miss Dance Drill Team USA/International is a 501c(3) non-profit organization, which means MDDTUSA is constantly looking for new ways to make the lives of our nation’s youth more fulfilling through the artform of precision dance. Throughout her life, our founder Dr. Kay Teer Crawford advocated the benefits of dance/drill education and strived to create opportunities for youth that built a pathway for their future. She had always wanted to see the role of women advance not only in dance, but in their careers. She recognized before anyone else that dance helped pave the way forward in more aspects than just simple sport or competition. Instead of hosting “cattle-call” competitions and corporate dance workshops for the sole purpose of making a profit off of our hardworking & dedicated children, Kay Crawford always put the kids first by providing an experience they will cherish for the rest of their lives. Each year we strive to continue this tradition. Please take a moment to read about our upcoming Dr. Kay Teer Crawford Scholarship Foundation award opportunities, which feature a variety of scholarships for dance, drill team, and precision dance arts. Application materials for each award will be posted on this website as soon as they become available.
